Alias!

 Hi :)

So I know a lot of you on LJ just call me caddyeverafter7. Like, legit. You guys don't even shorten it to Caddy. Don't know why, but you just don't.

But boy, do I ever have a solution to you!

For the longest time I've just been flitting around the Interwebz and using my first name with everything that I encounter. Well, no more! I mean, it might be difficult to erase that from the past ("The Internet is written in pen!" says every cyber-bullying speaker ever to have spoken to me about Internet safety.) but I figure it's time to set the stones for the future, or some weird shit like that.

So yeah. Call me CRICKET. (Not necessarily in all caps.)

This alias would make a lot more sense if you followed me on DW or on tumblr where both my usernames are lilcrickee. Unfortunately, unless someone wants to gift me a renaming token, my LJ username will remain as caddyeverafter7. 

So even though it's confusing, call me Cricket. Now repeat.

I was definitely one of the DW variety since I would always use your full username.... Cricket does have a nice ring to it though. :)

Yeah. I didn't start using lilcrickee until after I'd already been using my LJ for awhile and I'm pretty sure my dad wouldn't buy me a name token, lol, so it just stayed that way. But when we made the jump to DW, I got to start all over with my name so I picked lilcrickee.

I like Cricket because it's similar but it's also more name-y so it sounds ... more personal? Without it being personal because that's part of the alias' job? Lol.

I've actually had conversations with some people as to what on earth we should call you when talking about you in conversation; Caddyeveryafter7 is...really long..., we didn't know if shortening it to Caddy was okay by you, and I don't feel comfortable calling people by their first name unless they give me explicit permission to so first.

Yes, Sonata :D though if that is hard just use my username and if that is too hard make up a name or nickname for me and go with that, I WILL RESPOND TO BASICALLY ANYTHING.
